A Day in the Life at Green Genie: Serving Michigan’s Cannabis Community

Morning: Preparing for the Day

As I arrive at our Dearborn location, the first thing I do is check our inventory. Working at Green Genie Cannabis means always being prepared for a busy day of helping customers find the perfect products. We serve communities across Michigan, including Livonia, Westland, Southfield, Novi, and Taylor, so it’s crucial to keep our stock well-maintained.

Midday: Customer Service and Education

The bulk of my day is spent assisting customers with their cannabis needs. Whether they’re looking for recreational products or seeking information about different strains, I’m here to help. Some common questions I encounter include:

  • What’s the difference between indica and sativa?
  • Are there any new products available?
  • What are the effects of various consumption methods?

I love educating our customers about cannabis and helping them find the right products for their needs. It’s rewarding to see people leave our store feeling informed and satisfied.

Afternoon: Inventory Management and Team Collaboration

After the midday rush, I spend some time updating our inventory system and collaborating with my colleagues. We discuss new products, share customer feedback, and brainstorm ideas to improve our service. Working at Green Genie Cannabis is more than just operating a pot shop or weed store; it’s about being part of a community and helping people access the benefits of cannabis responsibly.

Evening: Closing Up and Reflecting

As we approach closing time, I ensure all our displays are tidy and our systems are updated. I reflect on the day’s interactions and the positive impact we’ve had on our customers. Whether they were seeking recreational cannabis or had specific questions about products, it’s satisfying to know we’ve provided a welcoming and informative environment.

Working at Green Genie Cannabis is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to be part of the growing cannabis industry and to help shape its future in Michigan. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, and I’m proud to be part of this dynamic team.
